Hair Loss Treatment – 7 Hair Growth Tips

January 24th, 2010 hair extensions pro No comments

People often take their hair for granted until one day they realize that it is starting thin and fall out. Once you’re in this stage, hair regrowth becomes very difficult to achieve. Thus, it would be better if we start taking care of the health of our hair and scalp now, rather than regret not having done it later on.
A number of factors may influence how our hair will grow and how prone we are to hair loss. These may include hormonal changes, hereditary influences, environmental factors, and health. A change in lifestyle will definitely impact what would become of our hair in the future. Consider following the hair growth tips below in order to encourage the growth of hair strands that are less prone to dryness, breakage, and falling.
(1)Drink the recommended daily amount of water. Water here means pure water; it does not include other drinks such as soft drinks, coffee, and beer. Dehydration can make your entire body feel weak and easily exhausted. It is also another factor in the drying out and breakage of hair, as well as the stopping of its growth. The general rule is that men should drink 2.8 to 3.5 liters of water a day, while women should drink 2 to 2.6 liters daily. Adjust these amounts based on factors like weather condition, age, and weight.
(2)Exercise a couple of times a week. Studies show that a 15-minute brisk walk will increase your normal heart rate. This will then improve the blood circulation in our body, and this will bring more nutrients to our hair follicles and scalp. It would be best to exercise at least an hour after eating in order to give more time for digestion to finish and thus put less pressure on our system.
(3)Maintain a proper diet. Avoid foods that are rich in salt, sugar, and fat. Those three food components would only stress our kidneys and make our blood more acidic, resulting in hair loss.
(4)Drink green tea daily. Doing so will reduce the risk of hair loss. Green tea contains antioxidants that inhibit 5-alpha-reductase, the enzyme that converts testosterone into dihydrotestosterone (DHT). DHT induces hair loss and an increase in prostate size.
(5)Indulge in aromatherapy. This alternative form of medicine has benefits both on our health and mood. Massaging essential oils, such as lavender and olive, onto our scalp would encourage healthier hair regrowth. Moreover, it would help eliminate stress, which is another factor in hair loss.
(6)Avoid putting any strain on your scalp and hair in the form of tight clips and pony tails. The mechanical action of pulling your hair against the scalp can result in hair loss. Bald patches may arise from plucking out hair from the scalp often. This is known as traction alopecia.
(7)Avoid using heat and chemicals on your hair, such as straightening, perming, coloring, and excessive blow drying. These methods will only weaken the internal structure of your hair and damage its chemical bonds. They may also cause dryness and irritation, making your hair fall out more easily.

How to make your hair grow faster. My secrets

Everyone talks about massage but did you know there is a right and wrong way to massage your hair, and actually your body but we will concentrate on getting your hair to grow so hair massage is a major issue we must tackle as it is so very important. The right massage not only stimulates growth but can actually even increase the strength of your hair follicles. The wrong massage can actually break your hair, cause no effect from the massage (other than it feels good), and definitely not help you reach your goals. What is the purpose of a good scalp massage? The scalp becomes ‘tightened’ as we encounter stress, etc. therefore creating a loss of circulation which is necessary for good growth. The wrong massage vigorously rubs your scalp AND your hair either by hand or using a tool of sorts, ruffling the hair as the massage proceeds.

The right massage is done using just your fingertips by applying a goodly pressure, keeping the hair from moving but only moving the scalp against the underneath body tissue. The outer skin moves over the inner tissue ONLY. You may need to practice this a little bit in the beginning to understand the principle.

You will notice that when moving your finger tips in this manner, areas of your scalp don’t seem to want to move. They may seem to not move at all but move to different areas of your head and also notice that different areas act different from each other. Don’t become impatient and begin moving the hair as you would in a surface massage. This is a NO-NO. You break hair when you do this. When the scalp seems to not want to move, this is an indication your scalp is STARVING for circulation and needs your attention desperately. So, concentrate diligently on those areas the most and if you can, do this at least 2 times a day for about 1/2 hour. You will find the more you deep massage your scalp, the looser the scalp will become which means of course, the more movement you will be able to obtain using your finger tips. You are causing the blood to move more freely in your scalp and the roots are now getting the circulation it was starving for.

Another big culprit of breaking your hair is combing it. I would tend to just about bet no-one has shared this information with you before as the average person is not told that there is a right way and wrong way to take care of your hair. I always thought it didn’t matter but it really does. As a little girl, with baby fine dry hair, my hair was snarled all of the time. Since I cried every time it was combed, it was cut and I really wanted long hair. It was below my waist when it was cut and kept short. I wish someone had known what I am about to tell you. NEVER use a comb on your hair in the first place unless it is an extreme situation which we will also discuss here. So what do we do?

Do not comb your hair wet. Do not blow dry your hair as it will dry out. Air dry your hair just as much as possible. Heat dries out your hair. Look at how the summer sun can wither things when left in it. When your hair is dry, using your fingers, gently pull your fingers through your hair as if your fingers are a comb but when your fingers get stuck (run into a snarl), gently take both hands and slowly in the middle of this snarl, pull it apart doing just a little bit at a time. In other words, never pull tightly but when it feels it is tightening, go at it from a different direction. This is not as time consuming as it sounds. It definitely eliminates stress on the follicles creating less breakage and when you are done combing your hair with your fingers, you will have no snarls. I cannot say why this works so good other than our body seems to produce oils through our fingers and they seem to naturally remove the snarls rather than forcing the removal of them.

Once the snarls are removed, brush your hair with a very fine ‘horse hair’ brush. Do not worry if it doesn’t go all the way through to the scalp. It isn’t supposed to. Just move your hair so you can cover all of it with your brushing. You stimulate your scalp with your fingertips and not your brush.

Once your snarls are removed, you have completed your massage, and you have brushed your hair, use a natural hair extension so that you do not need to ADD anything whatsoever to your hair to create any damage, i.e.; leave in conditioners, hair spray, any type of additives, no clips, just your natural hair extensions and you will see your hair become healthy and robustly grow. HAPPY hair growth.

SECRET Tricks & Tips for Growing Healthy, Thicker Hair

First you need a natural hair extensions. Why? Will show you why herein. Make sure you have the right one for you and one that has no clips, glues or things that can further damage your hair. Be Careful.

Hair can be thin and baby fine at birth and naturally appear un-healthy. Not only do we encounter stress, lack of proper nutrients, bad lifestyle habits but hair naturally breaks and re-grows so we need to increase the strength of the hair follicle plus encourage our body to grow new hair.

First our care of our hair is a primary issue. Treat your hair like you WANT it to grow. This is why a natural hair extensions can help us with this. Why shampoo your hair every day and strip it of its natural lubricants? Yes, I know. It looks dirty, right? So, a natural hair extensions can cover up most of your own hair. Instead shampoo your own hair every 3 to 5 days. In fact if your scalp is dry, you might want to go longer. You will find this amazing and notice a definite thickening of the follicle. Research shampoos and conditions and find ones that encourage growth with no breakage. You might even try to contact a ‘hair growth’ clinic to ensure you get the quality you need. Stay away from cheapies. Treat your hair like it is fragile when you shampoo and condition it. Be gentle and use proper massage techniques

Give your hair a ‘rest’. When you are sick, you go to bed so your body can heal itself. Your hair is obviously not healthy so it is sick and needs it’s rest for a time. Again, treat your hair like it is fragile. There are proper massages, proper combings and even other tricks to implement to enhance your good care of your hair. Using natural hair extensions will allow you to give your own hair the rest it needs so it can become healthy again.

Stress and bad lifestyle habits might be things you cannot or dont want to change but you can still grow healthy hair. It just might take a little longer. Using the tips herein will still benefit your hair.

Nutrients are another major factor impacting our hair health. Our lives are so busy there is just no way to eat properly or to take massive amounts of herbs, vitamins, etc. so keep this simple. We can use Vitamin E which is for our skin, hair and nails. A decent amount of 1,000 mg a day should be enough. The other major vitamin is an un-tested theory that has worked well for alot of people and that is a prenatal vitamin. Vitamins that are coated are poorly processed by the body as the acid in the stomach has to firstly dissolve the coating which, by this time, the body is disposing of the vitamin leaving it without the desired affect of the vitamin. Prenatal vitamins usually are not coated and contain extra amino acids which are for hair, skin and nails. I have been told that we cannot overdose on vitamins so they should not hurt us as our body will just simply eliminate the excess. Yes, men too have successfully taken these as it appears there is nowhere else you can get all the ingredients in a prenatal vitamin in one place.

Drink at least one bottle of bottled water per day. Your body needs water for growth and health. If you can handle 3 or a day, that is even better but make sure it is at least one.

How To Restore Healthy Natural Hair Growth

October 27th, 2009 hair extensions pro No comments

I managed to stop my hair loss in it’s tracks and restore healthy natural hair growth again using simple techniques. This article explains how I did it, and how this new approach to hair loss can help you too. I’m Paul Taylor and I suffered hair loss from androgenetic alopecia (male pattern baldness) for seven long years. When my hair loss began to rapidly develop, I was only 23 and found I was totally unable to accept it. I needed help. And I needed it fast! So, obviously my first approach was to ask the experts. Being very technically minded, these were some of the questions I posed to these hair loss professionals: 1. How can DHT (dihydrotestosterone – a testosterone derivative) be linked to both hair loss and hair growth? (DHT stimulates facial and body hair growth at puberty). 2. Why do some people lose hair only from the front (receding temples) or back of the scalp (a bald patch) whilst others lose hair from both these regions simultaneously?3. Why is it that hair loss can develop in one of these regions faster than it does in the other? 4. Why does remnant hair sometimes continue to grow despite extensive hair loss throughout the rest of the scalp? (Remnant hair is healthy permanent hair surrounded by baldness). 5. Why do 20% of men start losing hair at puberty, while others don’t start until they’re much older? I considered these questions extremely relevant to the hair loss process and, as such, quite straightforward for a hair loss specialist to answer. But every hair loss expert I asked was unable to provide answers! This, I found extremely surprising, and disappointing because it gave the impression that they didn’t fully understand the hair loss mechanism. And, if they didn’t know, how could I ever rid myself of this problem? But I had to find a solution – a way to restore strong, natural hair growth. Even if it meant doing it on my own! So that’s when I started extremely time-consuming work: to find the answers to those questions. After seven years of research, I finally began to understand where all those hair loss “experts” were going wrong: The mechanism that causes androgenetic alopecia involves skull bone growth (or skull expansion). Skull expansion is the real reason why you’re losing your hair! For some people this process will take place (and lead to extensive hair loss) but for others it will not. For those men who go completely bald, a very pronounced domed skull shape will eventually develop. But, for those who will never lose their hair and continue to enjoy healthy natural hair growth throughout life, a very broad flat forehead and a flat crown to the skull is nearly always present.Almost anyone can reverse their hair loss too.
